Audiovisual seminar: Barilla

Training

As part of an educational seminar, first-year students were immersed in the world of audiovisual communication. Under the guidance of Émilie Letellier, production manager and founder of the Libellule Productions agency, they worked on a brief for the famous Italian brand Barilla.

The project

The aim of this workshop? To explore the fundamentals of scriptwriting, technical editing and the creation of moodboards and storyboards to bring an engaging visual concept to life.

The challenge was to come up with a video campaign capable of highlighting the new Barilla Al Bronzo range of premium pasta products, while appealing to a young, value-for-money audience.

Challenges met

For one week, the students benefited from intensive courses and coaching led by industry professionals. The aim of the program was to develop their creative and technical skills, while immersing them in the real challenges of audiovisual production.

  • Analyse the brand’s communication history
  • Create a video concept and its sales pitch (script, scenario, moodboard, storyboard)
  • Present a convincing recommendation to a professional jury

Rendering

The concept tells the story of a student trying to impress on a romantic first date on a tight budget. With the help of a friend, he opts for Barilla Al Bronzo pasta, illustrating that it is possible to reconcile quality and price.

The video shows moments of complicity, creativity in the kitchen and Italian elegance, with a touch of humour. The final shot, showing empty plates and clothes strewn around the flat, ends with the slogan: “€1 more can make all the difference”. Congratulations to the winning team: Raphaël Achucarro, Anna Arroniz, Alexane Gueudet, Audrey Noiran, Valentine Ossard, Anaïs Parsoire.

The role of the school

This audiovisual seminar demonstrates the importance of practical learning, combining creativity and professionalism. Thanks to the expertise of Émilie Letellier and the speakers, the students were able to develop key skills such as :

  • The construction of a captivating visual narrative.
  • Mastery of pre-production tools (moodboard, storyboard).
  • Managing a creative brief while respecting the client’s expectations.

This project also highlights the school’s commitment to offering practical experience, preparing students for the challenges of the audiovisual sector.
