At Sup de Pub, the Home of Explorers philosophy is not just a formula: it’s a teaching reality. It takes on its full meaning when our students travel across Europe to measure themselves against the best. Here’s a look back at an intense and successful international experience: the Blended Intensive Program (BIP) in Zagreb, Croatia.
From 12 to 16 January 2026, Zagreb became the European capital of applied creativity. The BIP organised by our partner, Algebra Bernays University, challenged around a hundred Pan-European students. The concept was to immerse them in a realistic working environment, with authentic constraints and client briefs.
How does the Blended Intensive Programme work?
The Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) is a short international mobility programme supported by the European Commission and funded by Erasmus+. It combines an online preparation phase followed by an intensive face-to-face week at a partner university in Europe. The aim is to learn, work together and take on a practical challenge alongside students from all backgrounds. More than just a course, it’s a powerfull driver of soft skills growth and professional networking.

Between intensive work and cultural immersion
For our 18 students from the Paris, Lyon and Bordeaux campuses, the objective was twofold: to evolve in an unprecedented international context and to demonstrate the creative and strategic excellence of Sup de Pub.
The experiment, entirely funded by an Erasmus+ grant, has been designed to maximise the effectiveness and preparation of the participants in two distinct phases.
- 1 – Virtual Phase (15-19 December 2025): a week of online sessions enabled all participants onboarding and creative debrief, familiarise themselves with the tools and exchange views with the organisers.
- 2 – Physical Mobility (12-16 January 2026): the immersion in Zagreb was the heart of the reactor: the participants were integrated into three specialised modules for a week of intense work.
And the experience was not limited to masterclasses and mentoring sessions on campus: the organisers included a strong cultural dimension, with a visit to the Zagreb City Museum and a photo challenge through the emblematic sites of the Croatian capital. It’s an essential way to build a collaborative ecosystem.
This part of the programme was particularly valuable as it allowed us to really connect with each other – not just by working as a team, but also by spending time together outside the classroom. Discovering the city was fascinating and gave us a deeper understanding of Zagreb and its history.

At the heart of the modules: experts to guide our students
Each student has joined a module corresponding to his or her area of expertise, applying the skills developed in our courses, each supervised by recognised experts.
- Creative Visual Project (CVP): led by Professor Siniša Bogdanović, head of Algebra’s Design Department, with guest speaker François Message, coordinator of the Audiovisual programme at Sup de Pub Lyon.
- Creative Solutions in Branding (CSB): led by Algebra lecturer Nada Kaurin Knežević, this module enabled students to build a brand ecosystem for Netflix, exploring the principles of storytelling.
- Fundamentals of Video Production (FVP): led by Robert Krivec, an audiovisual expert, with a focus on the tricks of the visual storytelling trade.

At the heart of the modules: three challenges, three areas of expertise
Creative Solution in Branding (CSB): brand strategy and content creation
The aim of this module was to equip students with the skills to create powerful content, aligned with communication objectives: overcoming creative barriers, using brainstorming tools and developing brand concepts to respond to a global strategy proposed by Netflix.
Sup de Pub students taking part of this module:
- Emilie BOULIC (B2 in Lyon)
- Clément CHEMARIN (B2 in Lyon)
- Judith DE LESPINASSE DE BOURNAZEL (B2 in Bordeaux)
- Léane EXPOSITO (B2 in Bordeaux)
- Candice REBOUL (B2 in Bordeaux)
- Méline TRIOULAIRE (B2 in Bordeaux)
Creative Visual Project (CVP): from creative concept to design thinking
Based on a concrete project concerning the City Center One in Zagreb, this module taught how to develop a valid creative concept for the visual communication sector. The emphasis was on the creative process, competitor analysis and the ability to present and defend an idea. This approach paid off, with the Sup de Pub team winning the competition for this module.
Sup de Pub students taking part of this module:
- Lena BLANCHET–LE GARREC (B2 in Bordeaux)
- Eva DEMAIN (B3 in Bordeaux)
- Diane DUPIRE (B2 in Paris)
- Elise FLEURI (B2 in Bordeaux)
- Messaline MERLEN (B2 in Paris)
- Eline PAYET (B2 in Bordeaux)
Fundamentals of Video Production (FVP): the keys to visual storytelling
This module introduced students to the fundamentals of visual storytelling. They learned how to express ideas through the key elements of video production, from concept and script writing to short planning and filming. The result was the Voice of GenZ project.
Sup de Pub students taking part of this module:
- Lisa BARBONE (B3 in Paris)
- Jonathan CHENET (B3 in Paris)
- Bart MILIMO (B3 in Paris)
- Lana MONNERAT (B3 in Paris)
- Killian PACHECO (B3 in Paris)
- Loan PESON (B3 in Paris)
Outcome: Industry-validated creative excellence
Each mixed group had to develop a complete strategy and present it to a panel of judges at the end of the week. This exercise, which simulated a pitch session, pushed the participants to give their best.
The greatest success of an educational project is its validation by the professional world. Marija Gamulin, Marketing & Communications Director at City Center One, expressed her enthusiasm about the collaboration:
We were very pleasantly surprised by this collaboration, as we were not aware that such a format existed in Croatia. The opportunity for us, as an established brand, to gain insights and creative design solutions from multiple international student teams is something we have not experienced before.
This recognition, which comes directly from the customer, transforms a student project into a genuine professional success, and makes students aware of the scope of their work.
“It was great to have a real customer, I think you put a lot more energy into it when you know that it’s going to be potentially used afterwards. It was a great experience!

A strong link with Sup de Pub’s international partners

The success of this experience owes much to the quality of our partnership withAlgebra Bernays University. Its rigorous organisation and stimulating academic environment were key factors. The university also facilitated the integration of the Sup de Pub delegation thanks to its ‘Buddy Programme’, putting our students in contact with local pupils for an even richer immersion in Zagreb.
Special mention should also be made of the students from other European schools who took part in this BIP:
- Academia Institute of Technology (Maribor – Slovenia)
- Accademia delle Arti e Nuove Tecnologie (Rome – Italy)
- Budapest Metropolitan University (Budapest – Hungary )
- GEA College (Ljubljana – Slovenia)
- Hanze University of Applied Sciences (Groningen – Netherlands)
- Windesheim University of Applied Sciences (Zwolle – Netherlands)
Project-based teaching: creating human connections
This BIP is one of the embodiments of Sup de Pub’s pedagogical vision and DNA: to train agile communicators, ready to collaborate in an international context. But beyond its skills, it is also a human adventure that unites the classes beyond the campus and forges solid links between members of the Sup de Pub community.
Sup de Pub: projects that make a difference
This BIP in Zagreb is the perfect demonstration of what Sup de Pub strives to build:
Career paths that go beyond theory to confront the realities of the market
Open to curiosity
Train agile communicators who are ready to collaborate in an international context

I’m very grateful, it was an enriching experience, full of emotions and full of encounters, especially on the different Sup campuses!
Léna BLANCHET–LE GARREC
In the end, the Zagreb BIP is much more than a line on a CV. It’s a compendium of discoveries, challenges and successes. It’s an experience that combines cultural curiosity with professional satisfaction, and confirms our commitment to offering our students unique opportunities to open up to the world. In short, a true Explorers adventure. Hvala Zagreb!
