Since its beginning, Sup de Pub has had an international orientation thanks to a network of foreign academic partners but also because of the INSEEC Group’s efforts at setting up its own campuses abroad.
The international dimension has always been a priority of the INSEEC Group. SUP de Pub has actively participated in this movement by opening programs abroad and developing a unique offering of Anglophone programs in Paris especially in very specific areas such as Digital Marketing, Design Thinking and Brand Strategy.
Emphasis is placed on international recruitment and more than 18 nationalities are represented in the international programs of SUP de PUB.
The choice of international partners that collaborate with SUP de PUB in a bilateral framework, aims in particular at enhancing the school‘s attractiveness and at fostering students’ mobility throughout Europe and the rest of the world. Academic excellence as well as the specificity of programs available are among the top criteria when developing these partnerships.
Attention is also paid to pedagogical innovation, notably with regards to the possibility of developing courses online with foreign university partners which effectively opens up international programs to a far larger student audience. SUP de PUB today, publishes a number of e-learning programs.
SUP de PUB is well positioned as a European school, due to its geographic location and its commitment in the framework of the Bologne agreements. Within this EU Erasmus framework, the school hopes to :
Indeed digital professions and the NICT (New Information and Communication Technologies) are developing very quickly in the large emerging countries which are increasingly becoming industrialized and connected.
Europe is the main destination of SUP de PUB students benefiting from our bilateral exchange agreements. European students are the most numerous to enroll in our programs followed by Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
We have set up a very proactive policy within the school by increasing the number of full- English programs which attracts a greater number of foreign students interested in SUP de PUB. These programs are elaborated in cooperation with other institutions, schools and European universities. Generally our partners in Europe are members of EDCOM, which represents some 40 European universities specializing in the various communication and media professions.
These bilateral partnerships also allow us to participate in two European Master Classes organized by EDCOM. The first is intended for teachers, by promoting academic relations and the sharing of experience; the second is for students from the different EDCOM schools and involves an annual competition on a communication issue. These Master classes are a good way to forge closer links and are very beneficial to all the participants concerned.
We want to increase the number of Anglophone programs and dual degrees with universities and European institutions. Our international recruitment, which has shown strong growth over the last three years, in and outside Europe, validates our strategy regarding the development of specific programs involving new technologies.
Access to the professional market and the very good results obtained with regards to work placement are, for SUP de PUB, indicators of quality and performance. For all those concerned, the Erasmus program encourages the development of innovative curricula with an international dimension, which includes mandatory internships abroad at both Bachelor or Master level. Such international experience is essential for gaining knowledge and skills in the global NICT sector.
The Erasmus programme should accentuate the incoming and outgoing mobility of students and others, in particular to third countries. This mobility serves the quality of education, including the development of transversal skills (cross-cultural, languages, innovation) essential to Europe’s competitiveness.
The experience already gained through cooperation and networks encouraging mobility in Europe may be extended particularly to Asia under bilateral agreements.
This opening to the global environment, supported by Erasmus, will permit SUP de PUB to attract even more international students into its training programmes, and thus contribute to the visibility and overall appeal of Europe in the context of higher education.
The Erasmus programme will facilitate student access to international companies (via the possibility of training, and notably research missions. The creation of a business incubator fosters support for student projects in partnerships with major companies. These structural elements strengthen the position of SUP de PUB at the heart of the world’s third leading city with regards to the communication industry. The number of alumni working for, or managing major businesses in this sector makes us one of the leading players in the transmission of communication skills.
As a wholly private concern, SUP de PUB benefits from no government grants and is funded 100 percent by tuition fees, by some companies that participate in the development of programs and to a very small extent by patronage. We maintain strict management control in order to optimize these resources.
