PACT
giving meaning to your studies

Training
The PACT program (Programme d’actions citoyennes de terrain) is a jewel in Sup de Pub’s educational crown. Students in1st year boost their soft skills while developing a definite commitment during their studies. They have the choice of taking part in concrete actions in the field, which will provide them with valuable professional experience for the future and enhance their employability on the market.
The project
The PACT program enables students to take part in a voluntary mission, in operational terms, exploratory research, etc. Half a day a week (Wednesdays) for 6 to 8 weeks, the students will work on concrete cases in several stages: analyzing the context, reflecting on innovative ideas for changing situations, proposing actions and/or solutions. For example, organizing outreach work for the homeless, managing SR for a solidarity grocery shop, running reading workshops for crèches, etc.
Challenges met
Students can multiply their actions in the field and be a driving force behind proposals by adapting to the needs of different issues.
- Working with humility in a complex, difficult situation
- Defining the right communications for the right targets
- Controlling on line / RS communications
- Managing teams in the field
- Combining strategy, logistics and creativity in the field
- Attend and interact with partner conferences – Network with CSR and environmental experts
Rendering
From their first year, students have the opportunity to work with a high level of commitment, the ability to develop a form of communication unlike any other: social commitment. As well as learning in the field, in contact with professionals, students will be able to acquire behavioural and socio-professional skills, soft skills that they will then be able to duplicate in any professional field.
The role of the school
Sup de Pub has always attached great importance to student commitment and to the various social partnerships that the school has forged in this area. This PACT project will enable them to acquire, or confirm, the behaviour of humble, human and empathetic communicators when faced with highly complex situations and crisis communications that are sometimes unspeakable…
In a nutshell
“ It’s important for us to get involved now and in the future…”, “I’m delighted to have the opportunity to make a contribution…”, “It makes us feel human …”…
The students are indefatigable and unanimous. The PACT project has coloured the teaching of their program with concrete actions of volunteering, citizenship and solidarity, which give their studies a multiplied meaning. Boosted by a humanism they didn’t all know they had, the students are very committed, responding to concrete social needs while at the same time acting as good citizens and building their own professional projects.
