You analyze cultural references, customs, lifestyles and social practices to identify the style of the sender and its audiences. Guided by strategic planning and your solid personal culture, you decipher language games and representations in a given consumer context, defining design constraints and conducting creative and strategic intelligence.

Thanks to your marketing synthesis skills, you can analyze the customer’s strategy to identify their needs and propose relevant creative directions. Your ability to listen, reformulate and interpret enables you to be an inspiring advisor, facilitating the development of creative projects based on defined artistic axes.

At the heart of design and copywriting, you steer the production of the creative strategy and translate concepts into plain language. Your linguistic, stylistic and narrative skills are essential, as is your mastery of environments and formats. In collaboration with the creative director, you will ensure the consistency of the message, preparing you for the management of a creative team or studio.

The diploma is obtained by acquiring 120 ECTS through a series of individual or collective written or oral work placements.

Including the flagship end-of-year project: Create your own start-up. Learners form mixed project groups from different specialties to carry out this major pedagogical exercise. The aim is to acquire the entrepreneurial skills needed to create your own fictitious start-up. Those who wish to do so will have the opportunity to join the Omnes Education incubator, where they will be supported in the realization of their concept.

Book day: At the end of the year, students present their portfolio to industry professionals. The Book Day is a real springboard interview that allows creative students to stand out and get noticed in order to land their future jobs.

Competitions: These are the highlights of the training program, and provide an opportunity to put yourself into a professional situation. The students work on a real customer brief presented by the agency and/or the Brand to address an acquisition or loyalty issue. This cross-disciplinary recommendation is carried out collectively, with deliverables distributed according to each student’s skills.

An in-company professionalization period is also required during the course.

What are the admission requirements for the MSc in Art Direction and Graphic Design?

Proof of validated Bac+3 (180 ECTS) or, for parallel admission to 5th year, Bac+4 (240 ECTS), level 6 certification or equivalent, primarily in artistic creation, visual and graphic design in communication, and passing the school’s selection tests (or equivalent in the case of foreign candidates). Executive training is subject to specific pre-requisites, and professional experience is taken into account.

What certification is awarded in MSc Art Direction and Graphic Design?

This program leads to the RNCP “ Artistic Direction ” level 7 certification (RNCP code 38589 | diploma code 16X32101).
