Why choose the MSc Digital Strategy and SOCIAL MEDIA ?

Nearly 40 million French people use Facebook, over 20 million are on Instagram, and Tiktok has largely seduced young people. Today, we spend 1h45 a day on social networks. In the space of ten years, they have become “the place to be” for advertisers, who use them to deploy multiple strategies for audience acquisition, community loyalty and recommendation by influencers. The technical nature of these influencer campaigns requires both advanced strategic skills and creative ability. This two-year program enables students to acquire the skills needed to design and implement social media strategies, while managing a team and a budget.

Objectives, skills and abilities

> Measure a brand’s reputation on social networks and analyze its digital environment.

Knowing how to establish a precise diagnosis of a brand’s presence on the networks using professional tools, organizing an active watch, detecting new trends – in order to define and steer the company’s digital marketing strategy – are all part of this course’s skills program.

> Designing a Social Media communication strategy with the aim of building awareness, loyalty or referrals.

Students learn how to imagine, plan and budget a multi-network communications plan as part of the definition and implementation of a digital communications strategy. As true project managers, they brief and collaborate with other departments such as IT, web design and customer service..

> Deploy a global, multi-network Social Media campaign.

Students learn the tools and methods needed to launch and monitor social media campaigns by managing and coordinating digital marketing tools, as well as animating communities: influencers, sponsored and organic campaigns. They also practice amplifying the virality and performance of campaigns through CRM, growth hacking or embush marketing operations.

> Analyze campaign data for optimization.

The program also includes expertise modules focusing on web analytics and data-driven marketing targeting strategies.

> Managing a project and a multidisciplinary team..

Collaboration, decision-making and even leadership are professional skills that students experiment with on a daily basis in a wide range of courses, including practical work, workshops and role-playing exercises, so as to be able to manage a digital communications agency or department and lead teams.

Pedagogical and evaluations

The year is validated by the award of 120 ECTS through a variety of assessment methods (case studies, simulations, questionnaires….). A period of work experience is also required.

Competitions:

This is a real-life work situation. For two weeks, our trainees work on a real customer brief presented by the agency and/or advertiser, in response to a strategic, marketing or creative issue. This cross-disciplinary work is carried out collectively, with expectations divided according to skills, in the form of an agency proposal.

Grand oral:

Held at the end of the year, this is presented before a jury of professionals. Five themes made up of fifteen articles are proposed to students, as a way of keeping abreast of new trends in communications and marketing.

Professional project: Create your own start-up

Students form mixed project groups from different specialties to complete this common thread. You will have one year to acquire the entrepreneurial skills needed to create your own fictitious start-up. Those who wish to do so will have the opportunity to join the Omnes Education incubator, where they will receive the support they need to really roll out their concept.
