Advertising today is increasingly about storytelling across different media formats. This requires not only telling but photographing and filming stories and adventures so as to share the brand essence on different platforms. This 4th year program plays exactly this role. It trains students in the skills of filming and editing, but above all nurtures the talent needed to create branded content through images and to script quality stories for different publics in the audio visual media.
This acquired savoir-faire is much sought-after on the market! This can be illustrated by the number of well-known film directors who first exercised their talents in advertising before moving on to the world of cinema: Patrice Leconte (Caprice des Dieux), Jean-Pierre Jeunet (Chanel), Sofia Coppola (Miss Dior), Luc Besson (Chanel n°5), Ridley Scott (Apple), Etienne Chatilliez (ERAM), Terry Gilliam et Spike Lee (Nike)…
This Production and Direction program offers a truly hands-on specialization. The objective is to train students to be operational as fast as possible so as to be able to enter the job market.
This is why the program is focused on advertising, digital and branded content, which are the fastest-growing areas in the audiovisual market with high artistic potential.
Indeed, video today accounts for 50% of Internet content so mastering audiovisual techniques gives one full control over the Internet environment.
Companies, from all sectors of activity, are today seeking to recruit versatile and highly skilled students who can bring them this new, effective means of communication. Whatever the format, short commercials and documentaries, teasers etc. the new mode of communication is above all video and social media.
The program hinges on 3 practical workshops punctuated by competitions that have made the school’s reputation: advertising, web/branded content and short films. Students benefit from a comprehensive approach to these three areas, in which artistic flair and technical expertise come together, training you to become an operational producer and director at the end of your studies.
This program delivers the certificate entitled «Responsable de Communication et de Publicité », (Head of Advertising and Communications) level II (Fr) and level 6 (Eu), code NSF 321n, registered with the RNCP by decree dated 07/08/2018 and published in the Official Journal 07/08/2018 for a duration of 4 years.
