Responsible for the visual design of communication solutions, the Graphic Designer is the guarantor of the desirability of brands. He/she develops creative strategies taking into account user usage, in response to a client’s objectives. He/she is a 360° creative person capable of elaborating concepts and developing them on different media (physical or digital). This is a profile sought after by all types of companies. This course in communication and graphic design is intended for students who are new to creation and who have a background in marketing, business management or communication. It provides solid technical and artistic skills to manage the implementation of a readable and memorable visual communication, from briefing to production.

Objectifs, compétences et aptitudes

>Analyze a market and the competitive environment of a brand.

Study the strategic and business issues of a brand. Carry out benchmarks, analyze creative trends and visual universes of brands. Implement and analyze creative and strategic intelligence.

> Analyze the customer’s request

Analyze the client’s strategy and identify their needs in order to propose creative directions. Write the specifications: context, strategic issues, CSR issues, problems, business objectives, technical and organizational specifications (budget, schedule).

> Develop the creative concept and propose creative solutions

Knowing how to respond to specifications, expressing an idea in images, designing visual systems and proposing avenues of communication, and finally developing creative projects from defined artistic axes.

> Develop appropriate communication materials

Choose and apply visual codes with the help of appropriate tools according to the desired impact on all adapted media.

> Manage the production of the creative strategy and the implementation of the visual creation

Respecting budgetary constraints and deadlines on all identified communication media (physical or digital) with multidisciplinary teams. Select relevant partners and service providers. Defending and arguing for its choices and recommendations.

> Master the tools of creation and understand their uses

To follow and know the technical evolutions and their impact on the graphic culture, to use them as a source of creativity.

> Manage a project and a multidisciplinary team

Collaboration, decision-making and even leadership are professional skills that students experience on a daily basis in numerous courses during practical work, workshops and role-playing exercises in order to learn how to manage a team and a company.

Plus pédagogiques et évaluations

The validation of the year is done by obtaining 120 ECTS by different evaluation methods (case study,
situation, questionnaire….). Time in the company is also required (110 working days minimum).

Competitions

It is a professional situation. For two weeks, our students work on a real client brief presented by the agency and/or advertiser to respond to a strategic, marketing or creative issue. This transversal work is carried out collectively with a distribution of expectations according to skills, in the form of an agency proposal.

Book Day

At the end of the year, students present their portfolio to professionals in the sector. Book Day is a
a real springboard interview that allows creative students to distinguish themselves and be noticed for
obtain their work-study in SP5

The professional project: Create your own start-up

The students form mixed project groups between the different specialties in order to carry out this common thread. You will have one year to acquire the entrepreneurial knowledge necessary to create your own fictitious start-up. Those who wish to do so, will have the possibility to join the Omnes Education incubator to be accompanied in order to really deploy their concept.

WHAT ARE THE ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
IN BAC+4/5 communication & graphic design ?

Have a validated Bac+3 (180 ECTS) or, for parallel admission, a Bac+4 (240 ECTS), a level 6 certification or equivalent, primarily in the fields of artistic creation, communication or marketing, and have passed the school’s selection tests (or equivalent in the case of foreign candidates).

What certification is issued

This program delivers the RNCP certification “ Artistic & Creative Director ” of level 7 (RNCP code 31993 | diploma code 16X32101).
