This training in Art Direction is intended for students who wish to devote themselves to this exciting profession, in a consulting or media agency. It is the final step in a creative curriculum begun in the first year, focusing on advertising creation.

Objectifs, compétences et aptitudes

Designing the creative strategy in multi-channel

Studying art direction means above all being present at all phases of communication. From the beginning to the end of the graphic chain, the art director (AD) creates a visual identity, works closely with the
with the designer/writer (CR), is responsible for convincing the client of his idea and
supervises the realization of its product (digital campaign, poster, banner…). As you can see, the
of the DA is to translate ideas into images (computer graphics, storyboards…) and to design the visual elements.

This course is intended for students who wish to devote themselves to this exciting profession, in a consulting or media agency, using all DTP, 3D or Internet techniques.

Plus pédagogiques et évaluation

The validation of the year is done by obtaining 60 ECTS by different evaluation methods (case study, simulation, questionnaire ….). Some time in the company is also required.

Competitions
For two weeks, students have to work on a real case study presented by a major advertiser or agency, in order to respond to a specific strategic, marketing or creative issue.

Book day
At the end of the year, students present their portfolio to professionals in the sector. The Book Day is a real springboard interview that allows creative students to distinguish themselves and get noticed, even before they enter the job market.
